The illustration below shows an example of a control network for a residential heating system. It includes all prevalent modern methods of energy recycling and of using geothermal, solar and renewable biofuel(pelletized) energy sources. Geothermal heat and exhaust heat recycling are simple and easy to use in modern housing design.

One of the local modules shown controls the heater operated with combustible fuels, while the other local one controls the heat supply from the non-combustible sources of the air circulation units, heat exchangers, heat pump and solar collector. Both modules are connected into a modular and easily serviced net by the proven msCAN bus. A central control module, also on the msCAN bus, is placed in a convenient livingroom location for easy control input by the user. Software for PC based transfer(display) of heating records stored in module RAM is available as an option.
